Next year we are headed to Brazil for one of the most celebrated events around the world! Carnival Rio de Janerio in Brazil is the world’s biggest festivals drawing travelers from all over the globe to watch the spectacles of samba-school floats, jaw dropping performances, dancers and extravagant costumes. The 6 day event includes block parties, beach hangouts and much more!

Official arrival day and start to an amazing week with a Welcome Party - dinner, Samba Class and a cultural night out dancing in Rio!
Day 2 - Corcovado & Sugarloaf Mountain
Get an introduction to the city's iconic sights including Sugar Loaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer on an included tour.
Head to Copacabana beach for a sunset beach picnic and some beach activities
Sambadrome pre-drinks and face-painting, plus all you can eat Brazilian food before the main events – the true highlight of Rio Carnival!! Carnival festivities are in full swing and we will refer you to some of the best places to buy costumes and all the accessories you might need to look your best prior to the trip!
Cultural Experience tour & Favela visit - learn about the rich African cultural heritage in the bustling Rio metropolis. Over four million Africans were brought to Brazil to be enslaved along the 300-year period of slavery in the country. Brazil was the last country to abolish the slavery economic system, in 1888. More than half of Brazilians identify themselves as black.
After the tour head to an optional Bloco street party to get down with the locals!
Optional included morning hike to one of Rio’s most instagrammable moments. Pretend like you are holding on for dear life at Pedra do Telégrafo. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoy the sun and surf of the city. Take a book to Copacabana beach, shop along the main streets of Ipanema and Leblon.
End the trip with the ultimate Brazilian food experience with a closing group dinner.
Time to say goodbye! Head back home or continue to explore Brazil on your own terms.

Travel insurance - You are responsible for obtaining your own travel
insurance. Travel insurance is not required but it is recommended. I

that covers any potential flight cancellations and/or medical coverage
Visas and vaccinations – Visas are required to visit Brazil as a tourist.
Tourist visa for citizens of America, Australia, Canada and Japan are not

Either or! The great thing about these travel meet-ups is that it is a

WHAT IS RIO CARNIVAL?
The world’s biggest carnival with over 2 million bodies dressed in
outlandish sequins and feathers gyrating to the beat of 100,000 samba
drums (glorious samba parades).
It is something everybody has to experience at least once in their life time.
Watching on your device is cool, but not half as much fun as being there to
check off your bucket list.

WHERE WILL RIO CARNIVAL BE HELD?
Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí! It is a purpose-built parade area for the
Rio Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It has a concrete structure with a
wide avenue running through the center and viewing stands on either side.
All of our tours and partners are carefully selected beforehand.
